Q: When do cottage rentals start being booked for the summer season?

A: Rentals can be booked anytime, however, rentals for the summer start early.  We already have bookings lined up for the 2011 summer season!  To ensure you get the dates you want for your vacation the earlier you can book the better.  All rentals are not considered final until the 50% deposit has been received.

Q: What is the price for a weekly rental?

A: The weekly rental rate for a week in the summer is $5,500 with a $2,000 security deposit.  We ONLY rent for a minimum of two weeks in the summer season.  Check in time is 4pm and check out time is 11am.  If you require more than a weeks stay but less than two weeks, please contact us to see if special arrangements can be made.  If we can accommodate your request, you will be charged a per night cost for each additional night you require under a two week stay.

Q: What is the price for rentals outside of the summer season?

Q: What is included in the rental?

A: Everything, the cottage is fully stocked, all you need to bring are your toiletries and food and you are set!  We supply toilet paper, paper towel, spices, linens, towels, beach towels, sand toys for  kids, soaps for the kitchen and hand washing.

Q: Do you have cleaners or caterers in the area that you can recommend?

A: Yes, we have many cleaners that we can suggest to you if you want to have someone come in mid week of your stay to do some light cleaning and laundry for you.  As well, there are many amazing catering companies in the area that will prepare meals for you and deliver.  If you need more info on any of these items please ask so we can help you.

Q: Do you have a sandy beach area and shallow water for smaller children to play in?

A: Yes, there is a sandy area at the lake where children can play, as well there is shallow water for little toes to wade around in and splash!  The end of the dock is quite deep so for adults/teens there is lots of depth to jump off the dock for a few canon balls!

Q: Are you connected to any of the big lakes?

A: No, we are not connected to any of the big lakes.  Sucker Lake is across the street from Lake Rosseau, but is not connected.

Q: How big is Sucker Lake?  Can we boat/water ski/jet ski on the lake

A: Sucker Lake has five (5) miles of boating and is the perfect lake for all water activities.  As well, it is also a very popular lake for fishing.

Q: How far away is the town?

A: The town of Rosseau is five (5) minutes from the cottage and has all the amenities you need for day to day cottage life.  There is even a nursing station in town if you need medical assistance.

Q: Do you allow large groups of people to rent the cottage?

A: We prefer to rent to a maximum of ten (10) people

Q: Are pets allowed at the cottage?

A: No, due to allergies in the cottage owners families, no pets are allowed at the cottage at anytime.

Q: Can I smoke at the cottage?

A: The cottage interior and exterior cottage property are strictly non smoking areas due to severe allergies to smoke

Q: Does the cottage have wireless Internet?

A: Yes, the cottage has wireless, high speed, Internet

Q: Do you have satellite at the cottage for watching TV

A: Yes, there is satellite at the TV

Q: Is the cottage air conditioned?

A: No, there is no central air at the cottage
